No one orders a dessert
they don't like.
by Andrea Conway
When you order dessert at a restaurant, you always order something you like. While you
might skip the whipped cream to save some calories, you'd never order the rhubarb pie if you didn't really want it.
Why, then, do you keep ordering what you don't
like from the Menu of the Universe?
Each
person and circumstance in your life......no matter how uncomfortable......shows up because you ordered it through your vibration,
and Law of Attraction had no choice but to deliver it.
The reason you may not believe me is this: you aren't consciously aware of what you're ordering. Few people
are.
It's not always easy
to accept that we're vibrational matches to what we clearly do not want: a shortage of money, an illness, a difficult
relationship. But denying our vibrational resonance to the situation only binds us to it more strongly.
If you can accept that whatever is in your life right now is
a vibrational match to you, you've made a huge first step in using the circumstances you don't like as springboards
to something better.
Accepting
the vibrational match is not about blaming yourself. There's no benefit whatsoever to self-condemnation.
What we're talking about here is a simple
shift, from pushing against what's upsetting you to allowing it to be for now.
You might say:
"I'm willing to accept that my vibration is what keeps me bound to this situation. Even
though I don't know how this vibrational match happened, and I have no idea what to do about it right this minute, I believe
that I live in an attraction-based universe. Therefore, whatever is in my life must be a match to my vibration."
Although it can be anything from mildly annoying
to painfully humiliating to admit our own vibrational participation in circumstances we don't like, accepting this is
the first step in reclaiming our power.
Acceptance
is a way of pausing, clearing the slate, and starting afresh:
OK, universe, I accept that right now I am a vibrational match to these stale oatmeal cookies.
But I declare that what I truly prefer to eat is the key lime pie.
The simple act of accepting what has happened and choosing again sets you on a new
vibrational course.
Acceptance
is a small step -- so small that many people would dismiss it as too insignificant to matter. Yet, it is the entire key to
shedding the resistance that binds you.
Acceptance and choosing again re-aligns you with the universal flow that carries you toward all you've been
asking for.
